Tuesdays, July 7th,14th, 21st, 28th, August 4th and August 18th (no class August 11th)

6:00-8:00 pm

$280 tuition

$50 lab fee (includes clay, glaze and firing)

This class focuses on the basics of wheel throwing, trimming and glazing. We will begin the class by practicing making good cylinders. From there, we will progress to making mugs and bowls. All tools will be provided. Included in your lab fee is a 25-pound bag of clay along with the glazing and firing of your pieces. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. You will also want to bring an apron and/or old bath towel. You will have access to the studio outside of class hours (schedule on Sign Up Genius). A make up day will be provided if you have to miss a class. I will consider younger ages based on if they are a good fit for the class.
